[New Sancai Compilation First Edition] According to media reports, Israel’s National Security Council (NSC) issued a travel warning to citizens planning to travel to Paris to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games, emphasizing potential terrorist threats and possible protests against Israeli athletes.

The warning came after a Palestinian terrorist group released a threatening video that circulated online, including a direct threat to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Dr. Eli David, co-founder of Deep Instinct, shared a post on X on July 23, emphasizing the seriousness of the threat: “Remember when we said ‘the West is next’? Today Hamas Posted a video threatening "rivers of blood on the streets of Paris" at the Olympics, take their words and actions seriously (we learned this the hard way)."

The official warning issued by the NSC on July 22 outlines several key points:

1. Olympic Games Date: The Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11, and the Paralympic Games will be held from August 28 to September 8.

2. Terrorist targets: Major international events such as the Olympics are considered prime targets for terrorist organizations because a successful attack will generate widespread media coverage. Recently, global jihadist groups, particularly the Islamic State, have advocated attacks on various targets during the Olympics, including Israeli and Jewish competitors.

3. Recent arrests: Local security forces have detained several people plotting attacks on the Olympics.
On April 25, a 16-year-old Islamic State supporter was arrested for planning to detonate explosive belts during the Olympics.
On May 31, an 18-year-old Chechen Islamic State militant was arrested for planning an attack during the Olympics.

4. Ongoing threats: Various terrorist groups, including Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Shiite groups, have been actively planning attacks against Israelis and Jews inside and outside Israel. Since the beginning of the Iron Sword War, countless attempted attacks have been thwarted. These groups are believed to be planning further attacks against the Olympics.

5. Protests and demonstrations: The NSC warns that demonstrations and demonstrations may occur during the Olympics, which may escalate into violent confrontations. Israeli citizens are advised to avoid areas of friction.

6. Security measures: French security forces are making extensive preparations to ensure the safety of the Olympics and its participants. Despite these preparations, a level 2 travel alert for France and other European countries remains in place, urging travelers to take increased precautions.

7. Instant updates: Israelis traveling to France to watch the Olympics can download the Home Front Command app on Apple and Android devices to get instant updates and alerts from the NSC.

8. Travel consultation resources: The NSC website provides more information and updates. You can contact NSC directly for further inquiries.

At the 1972 Munich Olympics in Germany, Israeli athletes were targeted by Palestinian terrorists; 11 Israeli athletes were murdered and a German policeman was killed.

Despite the heightened threat, Israeli President Isaac Herzog will lead an Israeli delegation to Paris.
