The vastness of the universe is always a mystery to human beings, and there is no way to know its essence. What modern astronomy recognizes is only the moment of change that can be observed in celestial bodies captured by modern high technology in human space. Scientists seize the observation data at this moment and put forward theories and hypotheses. Like a blind man feeling an elephant, it is difficult to see the whole and its essence .

【Editor's Note】The vastness of the universe is always a mystery to human beings, and there is no way to know its essence. What modern astronomy recognizes is only the moment of change that can be observed in celestial bodies captured by modern high technology in human space. Scientists seize the observation data at this moment and put forward theories and hypotheses. Like a blind man feeling an elephant, it is difficult to see the whole and its essence . If we only explore the mysteries of the universe in the space of human beings, it will be a waste of time after all. I hope that readers can think about the true meaning of the universe, human body and life from the discoveries of modern astronomy.

Quantum mechanics is the most important but also the most mysterious subject in modern physics. Although it has achieved great success, the explanations and interpretations of some of the most important concepts and phenomena are still controversial. One of the most mysterious phenomena is the "quantum entanglement" of microscopic particles. Now scientists have discovered the magical phenomenon of quantum entanglement to add to the mystery.

On August 14, 2023, the scientists published an article in Nature Photonics titled "Interferometric imaging of spatial two-photon state amplitude and phase," detailing their first use of two-photon digital holography and an ultra-high-precision camera to Achieving real-time visualization of two quantum entangled light particles and discovering that they look like a stunning taiji diagram.

Quantum correspondence—the corresponding link between two particles that are far apart, dismissed by Einstein as "spooky action at a distance"—makes two particles of light, or photons, inseparably bound to each other, so that a Particle changes cause one particle to change -- no matter how far apart they are.

To make accurate predictions about a quantum object, physicists need to find its wave function: the description of its state that exists in a superposition of all possible physical values that a photon can take. Entanglement makes it challenging to find the wave function of two connected particles, since any measurement of one particle also causes an instantaneous change in the other.

Optical holograms use two beams of light to create a 3D image: one beam hits and bounces off an object, while the other beam shines on the recording medium. Holograms are formed by light interference patterns, or patterns in which the peaks and troughs of two light waves add or cancel each other out. Physicists use a similar approach by capturing an image of the corresponding photon state through an interference pattern they make with another known state. The stunning yin-yang image of two entangled photons was then revealed by capturing the resulting image with a nanosecond-precision camera.

According to archaeological research, the Tai Chi map appeared at least 7,000 years ago, and it should be left by prehistoric civilization. In ancient China, it has always been known as the first map of China, and there are different opinions on its connotation. It may not be accidental that the quantum correspondence graph forms the Taiji graph. Quantum correspondences may reveal connections between matter beyond our physical dimension. Did the predecessors discover the mystery of quantum correspondence, see this quantum correspondence diagram, and pass it down as a highly condensed mystery of the universe?
