It snowed in the morning and I sent my daughter to school. When I got to the school, I was going to park on the side of the road.

It's hard to find a suitable parking spot today. Sanitation workers have cleared the road and piled snow on the roadside, but it has not been removed. If I pull over, my child will inevitably step into the snow when he gets out of the car. After driving slowly for a short distance, I realized that driving further would not help, so I stopped the car.

I reminded the kids to be careful when getting out of the car because there was snow. The child responded, opened the car door, glanced at the ground, and said it was okay, he could step over. I visually inspected the snow on the roadside in the car and felt that it would be difficult for a child to cross it in one step. But since she said yes, let’s try it.

As a result, the child took one step out of the car, and with an "ah" sound, she stepped into the snow. I felt sorry for the child, but also panicked, because if the shoes and socks got wet, it would be a disaster during class. But then I thought about it, the temperature outside was very low, and the snow wouldn't melt immediately, so it didn't matter if I stepped into the snow, as long as I shook it off quickly.

I asked the children to stamp their feet quickly and shake off the snow on their shoes and pants. The child was very obedient, stamped his feet a few times, told me that it was okay, and then walked happily to school. I quickly drove away and gave up my parking space to the vehicles behind me.

When the child stepped into the snow nest, it seemed like a small accident at first, but then it ended easily. Many things in life, like the scene just now, appear suddenly and catch us by surprise. We may immediately think of the consequences, the losses, and become upset. But many things are not static, nor are they as bad as they seem on the surface, and they can even be remedied.
