People in the world cannot understand what the other person wants to express due to differences in language. But at any time, people can feel the joy, anger, sorrow, and other emotions they want to express from each other's singing and the music played. This is the magic of music.
The relationship between music and human intellectual activities has been studied and elaborated by countless musicians and philosophers since ancient times in traditional Eastern and Western cultures. The great French writer Hugo once pointed out that there are three keys to unlocking the treasure house of human wisdom: one is mathematics, one is language, and the other is musical notes. Because mathematics enables people to learn to think, language enables people to acquire knowledge, and musical notes make people full of imagination. Apollo, the sun god worshiped by the ancient Greeks, was not only the god of medicine, but also the god of music. The ancient Greeks believed that harmony and beautiful music were a manifestation of the wisdom of the gods, a transcendent power, and a means of communication between humans and gods.
Music also runs through the long history of Chinese civilization. It is recorded in "Shangshu, Yushu, Shun Dian": The emperor said: "Kui! I ordered you to play music and teach Zhouzi to be straight but gentle, broad and chestnut, strong but not cruel, but not arrogant. The poem expresses ambition, The song is eternal, the sound is eternal, and the rhythm is harmonious. The eight notes are harmonious, and there is no phase to compete with others. The gods and men harmonize." Kui said: "Yu! I hit the stone and pulled the stone, and all the beasts danced." This is said eight times. The sounds (gold, stone, silk, bamboo, gourd, soil, leather, wood) must be harmonious and orderly with each other. Only in this way can humans and gods be in harmony and feel the world.
Ancient Chinese people have long noticed the moral influence of music on people and the contagion of emotions. Later, they gradually applied music to regulate people's psychological and social behaviors. The influence of music on people's morals and emotions has long been noticed by the ancients. In a broad sense, the application of music to regulate people's psychological and social behavior has a long history. In the traditional Chinese medicine classic "Huangdi Neijing", the five tones of Gong, Shang, Jiao, Zheng and Yu are attributed to the five internal organs of the spleen, lungs, liver, heart and kidneys. It is pointed out that the five tones influence the rise and fall of the human body's qi, the organization of the organs and the influence of the mind. Nourishment has a regulating effect. Because each person's body structure is different, and the temperament of the heart, liver, and five internal organs are different, this leads to different feelings about music.
In the 1990s, Japanese quantum mechanics expert Dr. Masaru Emoto conducted many water crystallization experiments. He let the water listen to various kinds of music and asked people to surround the water with kind thoughts, etc., and then recorded the crystallized form of the water. The experimental results have caused great repercussions around the world. This experiment proves that a word, an image, an idea, and a piece of music can shape a specific shape of water crystals. In other words, water influenced by these words, shapes, meanings, and sounds will show their different connotations and expressions. . A large number of crystallization pictures illustrate that one spirit will correspond to one material form. The ability of water to listen to music is even more amazing.
For example, the water after listening to Bach's music has neat and clear shapes; the water after listening to Beethoven's "Pastoral" has clear and joyful shapes; the water after listening to nursery rhymes is simple and clear. What's even more interesting is that there is a song "Night Forest", and the water crystals after listening to it seem to be shrouded in the hazy night. The dimness reflected in the crystal is not due to lack of light but to lack of sound. Beautiful music makes the water crystal form regular and beautiful. On the contrary, many people rely on powerful speakers to stimulate people's crazy feelings, but they actually do no good to the human body. These results reflect the connection between sound and shape from different perspectives, which is really refreshing.
Water is spiritual. It is willing to "listen to beautiful music and language" and identify with high moral things. In turn, high moral and beautiful things can in turn protect the crystallization (energy) state of water. The health path we follow must have this connotation. This is also a rule recognized by modern Western medicine and ancient Chinese medicine.
Science now believes that 70% of our human body is made of water. As reflected in experiments, from a health perspective, should we accept some good information, including music, text, movies, etc., and reject those that are violent and pornographic? , horrific, filthy, vulgar, evil messages? It can be seen that beautiful music is extremely beneficial to people's health. If the composer is a moral person, his character and spirit will be integrated into his music, and then such music will be beneficial to people. "Book of Rites and Music" says that the sages composed music such as "Ya" and "Song" in order to make people happy without being dissolute, and to impress people's benevolence without evil intentions. . If people have a gentle, upright, loving and considerate heart, they will feel happy and have inner peace, and inner peace will last a long life.
