[New Sancai Compilation and First Release] An ordinary advertising copywriter in the United States, he will still be writing press releases, social media copywriting and other content for the company until the end of 2022. But late last year his company introduced an artificial intelligence system. At the time, he thought that AI would work with human writers to help speed up the process and simplify work. He wasn't particularly impressed with artificial intelligence. He thinks it makes everyone sound like it's just something that doesn't really matter.

He thought the AI-generated content would also have to be checked by staff to make sure there was nothing wrong with it. But the speed of artificial intelligence is very fast. What a human copywriter may take one to one and a half hours to complete, artificial intelligence can complete it in ten minutes or even less than a minute.

A few months after the introduction of artificial intelligence, the small team, including this ordinary copywriter, was completely fired. The average copywriter finally figured out that artificial intelligence has put them out of a job. He said he had laughed off the notion that artificial intelligence would replace writers or impact his job, but didn't wake up until it actually happened.

At the end of 2022, OpenAI launched ChatGPT, setting off a wave of artificial intelligence. Funded by Microsoft, ChatGPT can answer questions like a human, and in minutes can produce a paper, a speech, or help you compile a recipe from ingredients you have on hand. From this point of view, it is much smarter than you, so powerful!

Some other technology giants are also rushing to launch their own AI systems, and Google will also launch the Bard system in March 2023. Although it is not perfect, the AI system learns and trains from the almost unlimited amount of data available on the Internet, which cannot be digested by human teams.

As a result, people are starting to wonder which jobs might be at risk of being replaced by AI. A few months ago, a Goldman Sachs report pointed out that artificial intelligence has the potential to replace about 300 million full-time jobs around the world. The report says that jobs across industries will not be lost to AI evenly across the economy. 46% of administrative jobs and 44% of legal jobs can be replaced by AI automation, but only 6% of construction professionals and only 4% of equipment maintenance jobs are likely to be replaced by AI automation.

The report also pointed out that the introduction of artificial intelligence can improve productivity and may create additional new jobs, which has been verified by some facts.

An example is IKEA, which now has more than 40 percent of customer calls handled by artificial intelligence. But while IKEA hasn't cut jobs because of AI, it's a development that worries many. A consulting company in the United States recently conducted a survey of more than 10,000 employees around the world, and found that one-third of them are worried that their jobs will be replaced by artificial intelligence, and junior employees are more worried than supervisors. Some of the reason, said a company executive, was fear caused by ignorance of the actual situation.

More than 80 percent of their supervisors and managers use the AI system on a weekly basis, he said. Only 20% of grassroots employees will use artificial intelligence systems. This is due to a lack of understanding of technology, which makes them worried about the possible results of AI.

But perhaps people have good reason to be anxious. For example, the work of voice actors has been replaced by artificial intelligence systems. There's a well-known YouTube channel that was originally dubbed by a voice actor. This work was originally a promising one. But the voice actor returned from vacation late last year to find a new Spanish-language video on the YouTube channel he worked for, which he wasn't involved in producing.

To his surprise, he said, when he clicked on the video, he heard not his voice but an AI-generated voice. He was like, this is too bad, is this his new partner? Or the bad guy who will replace him? He said he wanted to keep the job to support his family, as he has two daughters and needed a job to support his family.

He checked with his work unit and confirmed the worst. Because the client wanted to try artificial intelligence, so that the cost could be reduced and the dubbing could be completed faster. Fortunately that tentative experiment failed. Viewers didn't like the robot-generated dubbing, and the YouTube channel ended up removing videos with AI-generated voices.

But the voice actors don't find that comforting. He believes that technology will continue to improve, and one day his job may not be guaranteed, and it is still unknown what will happen by then. He said he didn't know what other jobs he could find, and would he be replaced in the future? He felt a little anxious.

Maybe AI won't take your job, but you might have to work with it. The aforementioned copywriter found a new job after a few months of freelancing. He now works for a company that provides coaching and counseling to employees in the workplace. He is currently using artificial intelligence to assist him in his work instead.

He believes that this is the future of artificial intelligence. AI can quickly summarize and organize all kinds of information produced by human beings. This is the duty of AI, not the work of eliminating human beings.

Artificial intelligence is like a super wise man without subjective thinking, or like a sharp sword with super intelligence but no self-consciousness. If it is held and used by good people, then he can make unlimited contributions to human beings. If it is controlled by evil bad guys, then artificial intelligence may become an unimaginable demon, causing endless damage to human beings, the harmony and trust of human society, the social system that human beings rely on, and all levels will be destroyed. Evil villains use artificial intelligence to mess up and destroy beyond recovery, and even cause human beings to kill each other.
